The Women of Wisdom initiative stems from a strong desire to bridge the generational gap between teen girls and women. To empower generations to make wise decisions and reach their full potential with practical wisdom and confidence.

Dorarena's mother passed away when she was only 11 months old, leaving her to be raised by her father. Though some people suggested that he give the children away, he remained committed to his promise to keep the family together. Dorarena is grateful for her father's efforts and acknowledges that he did his best under the circumstances.

​

Dorarena was pregnant at the age of 17 and moved out on her own at 18. Although there were numerous obstacles, she gained wisdom through the school of hard knocks, observation, research, and self-help books.

 

After years of trying to find the right mentor and failing, she started developing on her own. This experience inspired her to help other teen girls and women avoid the pitfalls in life. Her passion is to empower with practical wisdom and build confidence. Dorarena is committed to making a difference in the lives of those around her.

Through what she calls 'The Caterpillar to Butterfly Transformation,' she experienced a profound shift in her thinking, self-esteem, and confidence. This transformative experience compelled her to establish WOW, Inc. in 2016 to mentor, empower, and inspire teenage girls and women to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
